(More customer reviews)have been looking for big sound for a lil' price. saw this at target for thirty bucks and am pleasently surprised how loud it is. its the closest thing ive heard to hundred dollar plus equivalent speakers. i wanted a rechargable unit but not realistic so batteries are inevatable. for two watts it fills the room with sound and fits in the palm of my hand. bass is lacking but for a speaker thats three inch at best its the best i've heard at this size and price. cant comment on battery life (just got yesterday) but if i get twenty hours (like stated) i'll be happy. comes with little black pouch that my mp3 player can fit in to, and there is a "on" indicator light (amber in color) underneth the speaker grill by on/off switch. the base has a "springy" type flip to it that folds up and down so you can angle the speaker in your direction, it folds away seamlessly. the cord can be plugged in the speaker but not un plugged? theres a lil' tab on 3.5 mm jack that you turn to lock in so you could carry the speaker around your wrist when not using??? why i dont know? i plug it in before putting in pouch but cords not long enough to wrap around circumfrence of speaker 1"-2" to short? all and all very happy with purchase, i came across this at target without ever seeing before, and ive looked at alot! BUY THIS ONE, has biggest speaker, big speakers=big sound. when i say big im comparing to 1/2"-3" speakers that are supposed to be portable first sound good second.
