I used these earbuds last night while I was working on one of my engines (helicopter turbines) and the noise was no issue. The buds them selves creat the perfect seal to block out most of the noise I deal with on a daily basis. Add and ipod or an mp3 player of some type and you have a great set of plugs with tunes for high noise areas. The shipping was pretty fast too. I had my buds in about 6 days after I placed my order. keep in mind these earbuds made the long trip from the states to Bagdahd Iraq. I will be buying these in the future as i need them.
