Trekstor MovieStation Maxi t.u (88560) 750GB Multi-Media SATA Hard Drive Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Just got this product.
And the Packaging was excellent, unpacking I didn't realize before how small this thing is! It's about the size of a Paperback Novel. Very Neat Indeed.
Pros:
1. Nice Portable Size.
2. Well Made Construction.
3. Optical Output for Audio Provides Crystal Clear Sound to my Living Room System.
4. Lots of Room with the 750GB HD.
5. Good Remote - Quick Response.Cons:
1. Only Plays .JPG Pictures (this doesn't matter much to me though, because my purpose is mostly for Music)
2. No way to Save Playlists - Playlist is Temp? (that I have figured out yet)
3. No way to Automatically arrange songs by Genere, Album, or Singer.
4. Would be nice to have a Built in Screen, so I could use it at parties more easily.
5. Only able to shuffle, repeat, etc. in playlist.
Overall so far this is a good product.

Hercules Wireless Tunes Explorer iTunes Remote (White) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Set up easily. I have a large music database and it worked as advertised, with some delays I attributed to the size of the itunes library. The reason I returned the unit was due to my layout between the controller (at stereo) and my computer (floor above). The signal would not reach from the remote to the computer unless I moved into a near line of sight arrangement (through railing to the computer on the floor above). That created a dead zone right where I would usually want to use the remote. So, price was fair, it worked, just not for me.

RCA RD1060 64 MB Kazoo Digital Audio Player Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The RCA RD1060 64 MB Kazoo Digital Audio Player is not only small, it is very light, a sassy shade of metallic red, and a more than overdue upgrade from my 1989 Sony Walkman. Although there are mp3 players that have a lot more memory etc., I chose this one because of its small size and minimal weight, which makes it an excellent jogging companion.
The Musicmatch software for downloading music onto the player is a bit clunky, but is easy to use and install (even without reading the user manual). I can put about 9-12 songs on the player when I download using the highest sound quality---about 35 minutes of music. I like having the option to add a memory card; it was a key factor in my decision to purchase the player. A 128 MB memory card would increase the memory to 192 MB, which will be perfect for when I can actually jog for longer than 35 minutes...
The sound quality is excellent as soon as you get a new pair of headphones. The ones provided are not adjustable and terribly awkward. I guess RCA assumes we all possess the same size head.
I would definitely recommend this mp3 player for those in the market for a simple-to-operate, small mp3 player with great sound and decent features.

D-Link DMP-110 MP3 Player Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am one of the apparent few who is very happy with this player. I got it for Christmas and was a little weary after reading all the other reviews here. However, my player works wonderfully. I can get 10 songs on the internal memory and they all play great. The Smart Media Card Slot is nice. It does use its own format and WILL make the card unusable to other devices such as cameras. However, contrary to popular belief, the cards CAN be restored to their original state and universal functionality. All you need is a card reader with its formatting program. I have a SanDisk ImageMate USB reader. It comes with a formatting utility called "SMPREP.EXE" I successfully used this program to restore my 8MB Smart Media Card to work properly with my camera and reader. Bottom line is that this is a solid player, and I would recommend it especially if you are on a budget. If you have a CD Burner, think about and MP3/CD Discman since you get 650-700MB of MP3's (150+ songs) per disc.
(The drivers for this player reportedly don't work with COMPAQ machines so be aware of that if you own a COMPAQ) Hope this review is helpful!

iXoundWear Sport Cap for iPod Nano - Red Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got one a few months ago, because I was tired of having wires all over my body during my training sessions at the gym. My iPod had already fallen a couple of times after my earbud cord got caught on the machines... And I wasn't the only one: I saw other people complaining and trying to manage the problem by either holding their iPod or using armbands, lanyard, etc. Nothing worked successfully.
Then I came across iXoundWear (at that time called iSoundCap - I saw one of their ads on paper). I was a little skeptical, but I decided to give it a shot: what a difference!
The iPod fits snuggly in the pocket, and the hat is so comfortable, you can't even tell the player is next to your head. The wires are wrapped up and held in place by a second pocket. Just a few inches of wire come down from the hat to the ears; therefore wires never get in your way. Very cool!
My only complaint is that the fabric is not very breathable, especially for people who sweat a lot. Apparently ixoundwear recently came out with a running cap, made out of mesh or a somehow breathable fabric... May be I should have gotten that one...
Overall, I'm very satisfied and I recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)This kit is awesome, I bought it for my husband since our dog had chewed the charging code for his mp3.
He loved it. You can attach a clip to the skin case. It also comes with a type of string (sorry for my lack of description) that connects so my husband wears it around his neck, kind of like a necklace.
This is a great option for him.
We love the fact that you can disconnect the cable from the wall plug and plug it in the car charger.

Sony MZ-DN430PSWHI Psyc MiniDisc Network Walkman (White) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The best thing about these players? The battery life! You'll get 45-55 hours on a single Alkaline battery-and this is TRUE battery life folks. Because this little guy operates on alkaline batteries, it will truly last up to 50 hours of usage, unlike Li-ion or regular rechargeable players (like the ipod, Zen, etc). Those devices advertise 12 to 20 hours, HOWEVER, if you don't use it for a week, the battery will be dead. Rechargeables have a horrible discharge rate, and regular flash or hd based mp3 players use those stupid "instant-on" features that make the problem worse, after "power off" they go into a power-trickling sleep mode. How stupid. I can't tell you how often I tried to listen to my fully charged ipod only to find that the battery drained itself because it sat for a week after I charged it, GRRR! That problem does not exist with these players, which makes a HUGE difference. If you listen to it for an hour one night, and pick it up 3 months later, you'll have 44 hours to go! Just excellent.
Also, be sure to download the new SonicStage software from Sony (v3.3). It no longer imposes transfer restrictions. That's right, you can transfer your MP3s, waves, wma's, etc until the cows come home. And when you want to delete the tracks from the player, just delete. No more of that "check-in, check-out" crap from the early days of SonicStage. Plus the interface has been much cleaned up and is actually a joy to use (wow, I can't believe I just said that about SonicStage).
MiniDiscs are cheap folks, You can get them for about a buck-fifty a piece.
Be aware that this thing only plays ATRAC3 encoded files, which means that when you transfer songs to it, it will automatically transcode everything to ATRAC3 (regardless of your source: CD, WAV, MP3, WMA, etc-but luckily it DOES support just about every popular music format). You will get to choose the quality of the transcode/transfer (132kbps LP2 or 64kbps LP4). On average, I fit about 3 albums using LP2 mode. Sometimes I'll have to prioritize which albums I want LP2, then make the 3rd album LP4. LP2 sounds as good or better as a 128kpbs MP3.
Any bummers? Sure, there is one: The player's only power source is the alkaline battery. It does not get power from the USB port (if it did, this thing would be flawless IMHO). Unlike normal playback, recording uses mucho amperage from the battery. I recommend that for recording you stick a NiMH rechargeable in it. This will negate the problem. If you don't do that, expect to toss out your Duracell after 2 or 3 discs worth of recordings (I'm serious). Save your precious disposable Alkalines for the sweet 50 hours or so of playback.
I wrote a review more than a year ago and gave it 4 stars then, however today, a year later, I'm giving it 5. That's gotta mean something...
As little as you're likely to spend on one of these original MD (not Hi-MD), I doubt you'll be disappointed, just don't forget to download the latest sonic stage (don't even bother with the disc that comes with it, the v3.3 download will be all you need).
Later dudes-
RMaldonado
