(More customer reviews)Before I got this because I got the iPhone 4, I had an FM transmitter that had a long cord and a separate window car mount. I had to get this because the old mount wouldn't fit my new iPhone. I like this all in one solution and plus it includes a USB 5V charger so if you're on a trip you could potentially charge, let's say your cellphone or your digital camera.
Some problems I can forsee are that the FM channel switch is on the side of the device. So if you're on the go and the music goes to static or tunes into a different station, there would be no real easy way of changing it on the fly. Though I guess doing that is pretty dangerous while driving anyway.
Also not a problem for me but like one of the other guys said. His cigarette lighter is on the bottom which makes it impractical for him to use this comfortably and it makes it quite dangerous because he would need to look down. My lighter is located near my console so this is perfect for me. So take that into serious consideration.

(More customer reviews)This review is applicable only for iPhone. The product model# is GF7.
This product was able to fit into my 2009 Audi A4 cigarette lighter port. See my other review on another iPhone car mount.
However, it ends up being not a good fit for iPhone. The base is of shallow and fixed depth. Once your iPhone is retrofitted with a skin cover, it is just going to fall off easily. The remote control is a cheap design with a fake LCD screen, which is actually a cardboard-type layer put over some electronic circuitry to sense your key press on the selected buttons.
Overall this product has a flimsy design.

FM TRANSMITTER CAR CHARGER HANDS-FREE KIT FOR APPLE iPHONE 4 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The transmitter does everything that it says it will. It charges, plays iIunes, and operates wirelessly through the cars speakers. The volume does need to be turned up a good bit, but it is not much of a problem unless the windows are down. There is some minor static, but it is still well worth the money.

(More customer reviews)This thing sucks. I plugged it into my cigarette lighter and tried every possible way to get it to stay in place. It kept falling to the right or left. It would come out of the cigarette lighter. Piece O' crap.
