GSI Super Quality In Car Windshield - Dashboard Mount For Apple iPad 3G/WIFI Tablet Reader - 360° Rotating Dock/Holder, Suction Cup Stand - Perfect Fit - For Travel Or Home Use Review

(More customer reviews)This item is going back. It cracked after a few days. It is difficult to remove the iPad from the mount itself. The arm is too flimsy to support the weight of the device without shaking and twisting while driving.

Advanced Car Mount System FM Transmitter & Charger for ANDROID Phones - HTC, Google, T-Mobile, Motorola, Samsung Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought this will some trepidation reading some of the other reviews but it works amazingly with the Sprint HTC Hero. It comes with a mini USB Power plug and some other adapter for some devices. Not sure what it is for. It also has the right sized audio plug for the Sprint HTC Hero. The FM transmitter is clear and easy to use. Just set it and forget it. It remembers the station between power cycles. I listen to music when traveling and when a call comes in the music on the Hero pauses and the call comes through. Music and phone calls are clear. Listening to music and the Sprint Navigation at the same time is interesting but that is an issue with the Hero, not this product.
One downside that I found was the placement of the USB power outlet on the device. It is on the right side and I feel that it just sticks out there. It hasn't been a problem though. The other downside is the audio plug should have been a 90 degree plug because it sticks out of the top of the Hero a bit too far.

Accessory Power FlexSmart Car Mount System for PALM PRE SmartPhones - Cutting Edge FM Transmitter and Charger with DC Surge Protection and Stabilized Flex-Neck Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this as a gift for Xmas and was excited about the possibility of hands free calling/charging/music playing all at once.
I do not find it to live up to all of my hopes.
Pros
-The product is sturdy as swivels nicely to be at an angle where it wont fall out.
-Bright blue indicator light at the base lets you know its plugged in and the power is working.
Cons
-Does not fit the Pre nicely. Had to significantly modify it to hold the pre in place because of the side charging plug. Originally the pads that hold it in place covered this part of the phone. The kit does come with pads you have to stick on the bottom to expose the charging plug, but it ends up sitting half out of the dock.
-No integrated microphone to base. This means you have to use the pre's mic for hands free calling, which often ends up in me yelling at the caller to hear me over road noise.
-The sound quality was ok while it worked. There was some noticeable distortion on songs I played through pandora/phone calls, but it was listenable. About 2 weeks in to using it, it developed a whomping noise I can not get rid of no matter what I try.
-The cables for power plug in that it comes with are ridiculously long. It leaves a lot of overlap that either hangs or has to be tucked in somewhere.
Overall
If they improved some of the shortcomings this could be a good product, however there are enough things holding it back for me not to reccomend it.

Griffin WindowSeat AUX Windshield/Dashboard Mount for iPhone and Smartphone Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Wow. this thing is the worst product ever from Griffin. I own the original Windowseat and love it. It is very sturdy and rugged. The only problem with the original version is that it is not compatible with the iPhone 4. On Griffin's website, it says that they have no intention of creating an adaptor for the iPhone 4, so I had to bite the bullet and buy a new version that is compatible. I thought I was buying into the Griffin reputation and the original versions durability. Boy was I wrong. This thing is so flimsy that it wags side to side 2 whole inches if you use the included extension arm. On most cars, if you want to attach it to the windshield, you will need to use the extension arm. The ball socket actually broke on me while I was assembling it. All I have to say is that if you plan to buy it, set it and forget it. Because if you need to move it, it will break eventually. The box it came in is worth more than this joke of a product.
On the other hand, the ball joint is the exact same size as the original WindowSeat, so I have trashed the rest of it and will go back to the original mount and use the new appliance holder... until it breaks.
Come on Griffin!!! Make an adaptor or make something that works. This product is a joke! So I guess the joke is on me.

Griffin GC17093 TuneFlex AUX Hands-free for iPhone and iPod Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The product does what it says, and I've been using it daily for weeks now. It leaves a bit to be desired for a top-notch Griffin product, though. The flexible neck is a bit TOO flexible; it sways and moves when going around some corners, requiring readjustment. The cradle itself is sturdy, but the backing is very flimsy and comes with a poorly-constructed screw adjustment mechanism which hasn't worked well for me yet. I screwed it all the way in to have the iPhone seated as tightly as possible in the cradle, and it seems to be working for now. The neck isn't as long as I'd like, but it's not a big issue. With these minor improvements I'd definitely rate it a 5-star product, but as it stands I'll keep it at a comfortable three. It serves its purpose.

Talk hands-free on your iPhone while it charges, with TuneFlex. Leave your iPhone or iPod in its case and set it in TuneFlex's adjustable charging cradle. The flexible steel neck keeps your iPhone or iPod just where you want it: always within reach but never in the way. For great-sounding tunes, plug in to your car stereo's AUX in port with the included AUX/Mic cable. When a call comes in, just press to answer. Your call audio will play through your car's speakers while the AUX/Mic cable's high-sensitivity microphone picks up your voice loud and clear. All the while, you can keep your hands on the wheel and your attention on the road. White LEDs glow softly on the charger to show your power status. There's even a velcro cord wrap to take charge of the AUX/Mic cable and stow it neatly away.
