(More customer reviews)Received this product about a week ago, purchased solely for the remote feature for my ipod video, mainly for my car, but also for ipod docks in my home. Since I have a dock/charger in my car, the FM transmitter was not neccessary, although a nice adddition. The remote works well, no complaints there, however, the manual states that the FM transmitter can be turned off by cycling through the four preset tuners until you reach the "off" menu. This does not exist, which I confirmed through DLO support. This is not a huge issue, but I do receive minimal static, which is not the case with my ipod mini using the Griffin remote. Sadly, Griffin no longer makes a remote for ipod video, classic and nano. Overall, if you're looking specifically for the remote function and not the FM transmitter, this product is very good, so I do recommend it. Would love to here feedback from other users.

I brought this gadget from Walmart after doing some research on the internet. The device is very easy to use.. Just plug into the Car charger, Add the USB device tune to an FM channel and start listerning to the music. The sound quality is not bad for the price.
But there is a problem I came to know only after I brought this product. Every time you start the car the player starts right from the first song..:( this is very very bad becuase if I have 100 songs and I just listern to 50 songs..I have to push the next button 50 times to hear the next song...
Anyway I know this is not going to be a long term MP3 device to my car...So I am happy with what I have right now.
I paid 28$ for this one in Walmart. You can get a 1 GB USB drive to 50$ from any online store...

(More customer reviews)I've purchased three various FM transmitters varying from $[...] dollars and they all suck. When you FINALLY find a strong signal, it will quickly go away. I travel between New Orleans and New York and EZ-Cube works great in both cities.
Yes, it doesn't charge your media player, but it does come with a charger for the device itself which means it doesn't suck you iphone/ipod's energy.
Yes, it doesn't have a mounting system, but the cube is so freakin' small you plug it in the headphone jack and rest it in a cup holder or in any other little nook around you.
The most important aspect of this device aside from these two insanely minor issues is that it works great, I mean really great. Sure there will be moments where you'll hear some minor static, but compared to EVERYTHING else out there, it's night and day. And for $[...] bucks it's a steal.
Seriously, if an FM transmitter is your only option. BUY THIS ONE. What I don't understand is why this device can't be found in any retail store in the U.S.? At least not where I live, or why it's not sold on Amazon, instead it's sold through a secondary company. Come on guys you are seriously missing out in this market.
One last thing....buy it-it's worth every penny, I can listen to Wilco's spacious music without it being disrupted by a continuous hiss.

>Remembers set frequency and last song played if you remove it from car (or turn power to unit off)

Cons:
>The display shows the frequency, track #, name of song; but it is so tiny you cannot possibly read it while driving!
>The major flaw is that you cannot jump from one folder to next, you can only advance song by song (but I suppose that's ok if you have all your favorite songs in the SD card, or plug in an external MP3 player in the jack provided)
>Another little glitch is that there is no OFF button on the device. My car's power outlet is always on. So I put the MP3 device on PAUSE when I stop listening (otherwise the songs will continue being processed by the MP3 player)

(More customer reviews)This thing has a range of about a foot, with really poor quality sound. It may be as good or better than other transmitters that are available, but it's still pretty lousy. Not really as good as standard FM, probably halfway between AM and FM, and interrupted by the occasional static. I modified it as described in the websites that describe how to do such things, but the sound is so crappy, that it's hardly worth the price. The modified range is about 50 feet.
I realize that it solves a problem of allowing an MP3 player to work in your car, and there aren't any good alternatives, but but this isn't going to make anyone really happy. It's just a barely passable solution. It does what it's supposed to, and if you modify it, it has much better range, but it's really not a great result.
UPDATE: I really wanted a product like this, so I bought the "whole house transmitter" right on Amazon and it works. Near FM quality sound, decent range (about 40 feet). It only broadcasts on one of 6 channels, but at least the quality is acceptable if you can find an open one, and it punches through weak stations so the channel doesn't really have to be completely clear. It's 3X the price, but that seems to be what it takes to get decent quality sound.

(More customer reviews)I bought this player from Dream Bargains as SKU: WZ-K1F2-W0J1. Although the packaging was not heat sealed, it was obviously new, including a peel-off LCD protector. I selected this unit because the web image seemed to show a backlight that was missing from other listing photos. And, yes, it has a white backlight (not blue as pictured). Accessories included the short cable featuring standard 2.5mm plug to 3.5mm plug (e.g. IPod to modulator), remote with a good battery and 1 extra fuse. As with other similar units reviewed at other listings this unit came with the barest of documentation printed on the backside of the thick paper package-liner. Thanks to comments from other reviewers I knew that pressing and holding certain keys would produce other functions; on this unit press/hold Previous/Next keys for volume, press/hold the Pause/Play key to cycle between S(shuffle) and A(all, in order). I haven't yet discovered whether the A-/B+ keys control anything other than FM frequency. The product packaging indicates MP3/WMA player, but I haven't found the WMA function unless it's automatically detected (I haven't tested for that).
As other reviewers found, it is difficult to make reliable contact with the auto power socket, but I was after much practice able to find a satisfactory mating. I am sure a bumpy road would cause intermittence problems but on the highway or most city streets it would not be a problem. It's a plus that when contact is restored, playback begins where it stopped. It may be that wiping the chrome tip with fine emery paper once in a while could improve the contact; I haven't tested that. This poor contact is the only significant "con" I have to offer for this product.
I tested only with a thumb drive (250MB) and a half-dozen tunes. I plugged in the thumb drive, turned on the FM radio to an unused channel (89.7MHz), and plugged in the player/modulator. Ignoring the contact problems I then set the player to 89.7MHz (it's settable in 0.1MHz steps). I pressed PLAY and music poured forth! I subsequently found that the default modulation level was at max (21 of 21): a good default. As expected, setting lower modulation levels eventually (

Griffin FM transmitter for her ipod and it works great. I liked the awesome display and that it could operate on batteries. The only problem is that it doesn't work. I tried it in both of my cars (a truck and a car) and I held it all over the interior of both cars trying to find the "sweet spot" but I couldn't. I also tried going up the whole FM frequency and couldn't find anything that would work. In frustration I picked up the Sony cassette adapter and it works perfectly and sounds great. Oh well.

(More customer reviews)The unit came quickly and on time and the instruction sheet was simple and easy to follow. I have had two problems with this device and will be returning it. First, it has trouble with normal MP3 files on a 4GB card. It will play part way through the file and then stop and begin again at the beginning of the file. This happens on many files and all the files play fine on my pc and on my blackberry, and on my Phillips MP3 player. This by itself makes the unit unacceptable.
The worst problem is that I purchased this unit for the Bluetooth telephone connection. It pairs up nicely with my Blackberry and on receiving a call it mutes the music and I can hear the caller nicely through the car stereo. However, unless the car is sitting at a dead stop the caller simply cannot understand, or even hear what I'm saying. The microphone in this unit is no good at all. I tried the unit plugged directly into my cigarette lighter, which is down at the very bottom of the dashboard, and then, thinking it was too low in the car, I bought an extention and mounted it directly on the top of my steeriing column directly in front and just below my face. It helped, but the unit is still unuseable as a telephone. Do not purchase this item.

(More customer reviews)what you see is what you get. The product has a universal AUX cable coming out from the bottem of the dock which can be used in any cellphone with a headphone jack. The USB port on the right side facing you is for charging your device. It comes with both Micro and Mini USB cables but you can use whatever cable you have in your possession. Depending on were your cigarette lighter is located in your car you can't really have this device point straight up. If you take a turn and the dock is vertical it will tip left or right, however this is if your lighter is on your dash instead of your console. Audio is alright depending on if you find that sweet spot in the FM dial. It's big enough for the Epic 4g however EVO owners shouldn't gamble on this. For all other phone owners this is a nice Car dock in a iphone run market. If you want anything close to this it will be in peaces instead of one unit.
PROS: All in one design, universal, stylish
Cons: Will tip if vertical depending on location of lighter plugin. FM tuners need a sit down session to find the right station to sync.
I rate it 5 stars because it's the best a non iphone user can get depending on the phone and the accessory support from the main company and other companies. The tip is a problem, but I can't blame the product when it's just were the lighter is in my car. My friend has the same model, but he owns a VW were the lighter is were the emergency brake is so he have it vertical with no problems.
UPDATE***
Well mine just broke. I have theory as to why, but I wont list them because while mine broke my friend's is still working. I'll strongly recommend you to logically look at were your cigarette port is located because this thing is very top heavy.

For 15 mins the lcd said 'waiting' and finally said ' no device'. I ran inside to check the card and behold nor my pc neither my 2 camera's recognize the SD card. I contacted them right away and after 4 days, they refunded my payment. Duh ! What a nice gesture! I should be happy right? Wrong - I lost precious memories of my little one (pics) not to mention the $ 80 card WTF? Jack Sheng if you read this, you ought to better test a product before pushing it out to consumers. I have taken a better route to resolve this besides posting feedback. The customer support is terrible - One email reply in a day! ridiculous! (More customer reviews)This is a very good FM transmitter. I always use to have static interference with my old plug-in transmitter. This one has not had any static problems and works flawlessly. You can take it anywhere and make use of its very good range. One time I used it to make my own radio station that my roommates could listen to on their radios.
Cons:
- It needs battery replacements every 15-20 hours. (last me 3 weeks at the rate that I used it.)
- Blue LED in the front is WAY too bright.

(More customer reviews)This product is useless! The transmission is awful. I had a hard time finding any frequencies that were not full of static. When the signal was clear, the music from my IPod Shuffle sounded tinny and far away and it was mono (not stereo). I had to turn the volume on my car radio way up in order to hear it. Then, after just a couple of uses, the sound went completely haywire - sometimes it would only play the instrumental parts (no vocals) or the songs would be very fast and the vocals would sound like "Munchkin" voices. Then the music would sound scrambled.
The package description claims that you can use the buttons on the device to control your music player. It doesn't work.
Aside from the fact that it doesn't do what it should, the device also has power issues. Just jiggling it a tiny bit (like when you push one of the buttons to change frequencies) interrupted its power connection with my car and it would reset to the default frequency, requiring me to re-scroll to get back to the frequency I was using, all the while repeatedly loosing power. I thought the power issues might be my car's power outlet, but it repeated the same problem in all 3 of the outlets in my car.
I also thought all of this might be due to one bad unit. I had purchased two, one for another vehicle. The second one had the same problems. I am going to return both of them.
This is clearly an inferior product. I guess you really do get what you pay for. As cheap as it is, don't waste your time with it.
