(More customer reviews)The Kensington K39258US Nightstand charging dock works as advertised. The charging adapter is heavy and holds the iPhone up properly in both landscape mode and portrait mode (horizontal and vertical). It is sturdy is coated in a rubber coating that helps it from sliding on smooth surfaces. The only downside is that the actual charging cable is too short. The cable is a regular USB interface into a small power brick but with it being about 2.5 feet long it may not be long enough to actually fit underneath your bed where my power outlet is. The good news is that with a USB extenstion cable you can get it to reach but who really wants to hassle with a longer cable and purchasing it. Now if your power cable is directly behind the nightstand you are in good shape. I am assuming that you would use this device as a nightclock replacement.
If you do use this clock as a replacement take note. During the day when you take the phone off the charger you will not have a clock in the room. Yes this actually posed a problem for me as I couldn't tell what time it was when the phone was in another room.
You can download the clock app for free and test it out before you buy this charger. In the iTunes app store as "Kensington".

(More customer reviews)Unlike the other 2 users, I didn't have any problems with the shipping of this product. The original box came inside the Amazon.com box and was in good enough condition. The remote was included (which actually didn't really matter to me too much cause I don't use it).
SPEAKERS:
I bought this product primarily for it's speakers and bluetooth function and they serve quite well, although the speakers aren't wonderful, if you live in a small apartment or have it in a room it is well enough. Not powerful enough to blast music like party speakers though. The sound quality isn't as good as per se a JBL on stage sound system. I wish it had EQ, but it doesn't, but the speakers are good enough, I don't really mind.
BLUETOOTH SPEAKERPHONE:
The bluetooth speakerphone works very well and seamlessly. I never had the trouble that TechGuy experienced with the volume being to quiet. That only happens if you are listening to radio or music WHILE you are on a phone call. If you answer it, it automatically turns off the music (so you can hear the person talking). If you insist to play the music in the background of the call, it is more quiet. I can always however hear the person speaking, it's just the music that is more muted. When I have someone on speakerphone, I usually have them on volume 20 or so, and max volume is 32, so as you can see it's not a problem.
FM RADIO:
This is where I seem to have a tiny bit of problem, and it's probably more where I have placed the speaker and where my apartment is located, but the radio reception isn't particularly great and even moving it around doesn't work that well. It doesn't come with an actual antenna that you can adjust so I guess it's just too bad if you don't have good reception. I'm also not sure if weather affects the reception.
IPHONE DOCK:
Another big reason I bought this was because it has an adjustable size for the iphone dock. I have a pretty thin case on my iphone, but some docks you have to take the case off for it to fit, but this one is adjustable so you can keep the case on. That was a big deal for me as it would be the most annoying thing to do.
All in all I think this is a great unit, especially if you're using it for a small room and also use speakerphone.

(More customer reviews)UPDATE : I am returning this product because i can't seem to get it to work properly. The iPhone says accessory not supported too many times that i don't have patience. I am keeping the below review because maybe i received a defective piece but the feature still hold good.
Just got it from Amazon. The built of the product is very sturdy, the cables are probably the best out there with gold plating. I have a iPhone 3GS with a case and it fits nicely with the case. There is a grove rubber backing to give the phone/pod a little support. The USB Cable can SYNC and CHARGE at the same time. The Audio/Video cabels are nicely built with gold plating. I have yet to try them with the entertainment center. The Audio/Video out can be used with both the A/V cabels provided as well as regular stereo headphone. Since the A/V out is meant for a AV cable with three points, you can still use a stereo headphone by inserting it properly so that just the audio points make the connection. Not a hard thing to do at all and the jack is not flimsy that you have to keep on adjusting. Since the dock is meant for connection with an entertainment center, the volume control is not available and the volume controls on the iPhone/iPod don't control it either. Also the Volume Controls on the iPhone/iPod music app or any other music streaming app just disappear as soon as you dock. Th volume out is not very high or very low.. Perfect for a work desk listening if you are listening via headphones. If you have a set of portable speakers, you can control the volume through the speakers. Also the headphone jack on the iPhone is still available for those who want to control the volume. I will try out the A/V cable features tonight and report them too. All in all a good buy if you are looking for a stylish dock which will let you charge, sync with or without case and gives you options for both Audio and Video out all using one dock. After owning this product for only five months it began producing an overwhelmingly loud hissing noise that could not be remedied. Thinking I had a year warranty like most modern products, the iHome company quickly informed me of my expired 90 day policy. (More customer reviews)This is a great and useful product, but must be turned to European mode to reach 87.7 - 87.9 since for some reason Griffin thinks that they are not allowed to use these frequencies (they are).
On the FM transmitter box, push the middle button (Function) and then press and hold the "Mode" button (the right one) for approximately 10 seconds. When you let go you will see a menu for "Us" "Eu" "Ja", select the middle button, "Eu". Let the device sit for a few seconds until it goes back to the main screen, then tune your radio and the transmitter to 87.7 - 87.9! Now you can use the device on the frequencies that will rarely give you interference (I have the best luck in St. Louis with 87.7).

Found this on clearance at a local box store and for the price took a flyer that it would serve for picnics and other outdoor music uses. This little box is GREAT for the use I wanted it for! It is NOT a replacement for my two home theater systems sound systems. It DOES NOT have a permanent hearing loss creating bass presence. But, it DOES run anywhere off of "C" cell batteries. It DOES play almost any variety of CD media. It DOES have a decent FM and AM tuning engine, and even more interesting...although it is not indicated anywhere on the box or in the advertising....the thing allows for my new 160 Gig iPod Classic to be plugged right into the front of it (even nicer with the little docking adapter that comes with the iPod) and the Sony remote actually operates the Generation 6.5 iPod perfectly! Operates all the iPod wheel functions, skips songs, THE WORKS! If there has to be a negative, the plastic carrying handle seems a little lightweight, but time will tell how it stands up to use. Nice product!!

(More customer reviews)This item is pretty damn great I must admit. It works. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the irritating remote that you have to use just to turn it on and off. The sound quality is good in my car but if I turn it up using the remote while it gets louder the static gets really bad. Speaking of static unless I turn up the volume with the remote there isn't any. I don't have to change radio stations all the time! Last thing I wish the neck were flexible. Where my lighter is in my car makes where the iPod sit kinda awkward it's straight up and I can't read the songs. Still a great product.
